You read everyday and abstract documents — notices, emails, articles, opinion pieces — and answer questions that move from locating facts to interpreting argument and tone. Time pressure is real: pacing is a skill in itself.

How your score becomes a CLB level

Timing & strategy
- 1Budget roughly one minute per question; flag long inference items and circle back at the end.
- 2For short passages, read the question and options first, then scan the text for the answer.
- 3Beware paraphrase traps — the correct option restates the text, the wrong one often copies its exact words.
